Terms

The terms you agree to by using this.

Less is More is a personal dashboard operated by one person. These terms are short because the product is narrow: it reads a few things you already own and shows them on one page. Effective 12 August 2026.

Agreeing to these terms

By using Less is More you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you confirm you may bind that organization.

What the service is

A dashboard that gathers things you have chosen to connect — a calendar, a brokerage, news, and a daily piece of art or writing — and presents them together. It reads. It does not write to any connected account, and it is not a broker, a bank, an investment adviser, or a financial institution of any kind.

Who may use it

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Connect only accounts that belong to you and that you are authorized to connect. Do not use anyone else’s credentials.

Your account

Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Keep your credentials and second factor secure — anyone who can sign in as you can see everything you have connected. Two-factor authentication is required before you can link a brokerage, and must have been verified recently at the moment you link.

Membership, trials, and offers

When paid memberships are available, the price, currency, billing interval, applicable tax, and any offer are shown before you confirm payment. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically until cancelled through the provider where you subscribed: Apple for App Store purchases, or the web billing portal for web purchases. Annual membership is billed as one annual payment. Cancelling renewal normally preserves access until the paid period ends; refunds or revoked purchases may change that access.

The account trial lasts 14 days from your explicit start action and does not automatically charge you. It is an introductory offer for new readers, limited to one trial per person. Verified email and phone details are required to claim it. Creating or deleting accounts does not reset eligibility. Contact support if a shared or reassigned number prevents a legitimate trial; paid membership remains available. Purchasing during the trial starts the paid period immediately. A first-year launch discount applies only to the first annual payment, with the standard renewal price disclosed before purchase. Offer eligibility, expiration, and redemption limits are shown with the offer. Contact support for billing problems or refund assistance; applicable consumer rights and the payment provider’s refund process continue to apply.

When membership access ends, live content refreshes stop and brokerage connections are scheduled for removal. Returning subscribers may need to reconnect. Account controls, support, and previously saved content remain available. Deleting a Less is More account cancels its web subscriptions, but Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple’s subscription settings.

Connecting other services

When you connect a service you authorize Less is More to read specific data from it on your behalf: investment holdings through Plaid, and calendar events through Google. Brokerage access is read-only. Calendar access begins read-only; if you separately enable event editing, Less is More may create or update an event only when you submit the event editor. Your credentials for those services are entered with the provider, never with Less is More, and are never seen by it.

You can disconnect any service at any time from the Connections screen, which revokes the access at the provider. Each provider’s own terms continue to govern your relationship with that provider.

This is not financial advice

Nothing here is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold anything. Portfolio figures, market data, and any commentary or headlines shown alongside them are provided for information only. Less is More is not your adviser and owes you no fiduciary duty. Decisions you make about your money are yours. Before acting on anything you see here, confirm it with your brokerage and, where it matters, a licensed professional.

It cannot trade or move money

By construction, not by policy. The Plaid connection is limited to reading investment holdings; there is no trading capability, no payment capability, and no access to account or routing numbers. No feature of this service can move your money.

Information may be wrong, delayed, or incomplete

Almost everything shown comes from third parties. Holdings and prices are as your brokerage reports them through Plaid and may be delayed or stale. Calendar events are as Google reports them. Weather is approximate unless you grant precise location. News, quotes, and artwork come from external providers who may be unavailable, and a section that fails is shown as empty rather than guessed at. Do not rely on this service for time-critical or decision-critical information, and never as your only source about your own money.

While a brokerage connection is running against test data rather than a live account, that data is labelled in the interface. Figures shown under that label are invented and mean nothing.

Content that is not ours

Headlines, articles, quotations, market data, and artwork belong to their sources and are shown under those sources’ terms. Links are provided so you can read the original. Your own data stays yours: connecting a service grants no ownership of anything it contains.

Acceptable use

Availability

This is operated by one person and offered as-is. There is no uptime guarantee and no support commitment. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be suspended or discontinued. Where a change materially reduces what the service does, reasonable effort will be made to say so in advance.

Ending it

You may stop at any time: disconnect your services, or use Delete account in Settings, which revokes connected providers and removes your account. Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are breached, if it is necessary to protect other users or a provider, or if the service shuts down. Sections that by their nature should survive — disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive the end of your use.

No warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. No warranty is given that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any information shown is accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Less is More and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or investment or trading losses, arising out of or relating to your use of the service — including any decision made in reliance on information it displayed. Total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use it in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change as the service does. The effective date at the top will change with them, and material changes will be signalled in the application. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes a consumer protection you have under the mandatory law of the place you live.
